Lease Options
1
Basic Beat Lease
With this lease, Knight keeps full ownership and publishing of the beat, while you keep ownership of your vocals. Streaming royalties are split 60/40 in favor of Knight, and the license includes standard usage for streaming, videos, and performances. It’s an affordable way to record, release, and build momentum without a major investment. Included free with select sound pack purchases.
2
Premium Lease License
Premium gives you more room to grow with expanded usage limits, higher stream caps, and a longer license term. Knight retains ownership and publishing, with a 55/45 royalty split to keep things fair as your record scales. This option is best for artists planning visuals, rollouts, or consistent promotion. A strong middle-tier choice for serious indie artists leveling up.
3
Exclusive Beat Lease
Exclusive rights give you sole usage of the beat — once purchased, it’s removed from the store permanently. Knight keeps producer and publishing credit with a 50/50 royalty split, giving both sides shared upside if the song rises. You get unlimited streams, unlimited shows, and full commercial clearance. Add stems for $200 to customize your mix and craft an album-level sound.
4
Full Buyout
A full buyout transfers all rights, publishing, ownership, and royalties to you, making you the permanent and sole owner of the instrumental. This option is built for major releases, sync licensing, films, brands, and long-term catalog control. Knight forfeits all monetary and royalty participation once the buyout is complete. Ideal for artists or labels who want 100% control, forever.
