Basic Beat Lease Agreement
This Basic Beat Lease Agreement (“Agreement”) is made as of [Date], by and between:

1.1 Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, 2-year lease to use the beat titled “[Beat Title]”(“Beat”) for one commercial release.
1.2 License includes:

Release on DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, etc.)

Release on YouTube & social media
-
Live performances
1.3 License does not include:
-
Major radio
-
Film, TV, or sync placements
-
Unlimited distribution
-
Re-licensing or resale

Payment and Royalties
2.1 Licensee shall pay Licensor [Basic Lease Price] as a one-time fee.
2.2 Licensee agrees Licensor shall receive:

15% royalties from master revenue

60% publishing share (Licensor)
-
40% publishing share (Licensee)
3
Ownership
3.1 Licensor retains full ownership of the Beat.
3.2 License is a usage right only.
3.3 Licensee may not register the Beat with Content ID or claim producer/writer ownership.

Restrictions
Licensee MAY NOT:

Re-sell, re-license, or transfer the Beat
-
Create new versions after the 2-year expiration

Claim production or composition credit
6
Miscellaneous
6.1 Governing Law: This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of [Your State].
6.2 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Contract shall be resolved through binding arbitration in [City, State].
6.3 Entire Agreement: This Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
6.4 Amendments: This Contract may be amended only in a writing signed by both parties.
Termination
Upon expiration:

No new usage or derivative works permitted
